CSR - Cricket Social Responsibility
On 19th June 2020 Mozambican Cricket Association leaped out, once again to assist the needy Mozambican Children of Development program with minimum essential staple food for the month of June/July 2020. Mozambique is still going through State of Emergency period due to Pandemic COVID 19 and situation of our principal development players are very alarming. As per latest Wider Publication related Mozambican Children:
"A significant, and striking, result of our analysis is that rural poverty incidence for children aged 0-17 is more than three times that of urban areas, and the four poorest provinces are about 50 times poorer than the richest," write Kristi Mahrt, Andrea Rossi, Vincenzo Salvucci and Finn Tarp in a paper published 23 April.
Mozambique continues to have multidimensional poverty levels that exceed those of its neighbours - Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe - by a large margin........"
Mozambique Cricket stands fast to extend its hands to its players in the time of such emergency to assist in all possible ways, within its capacity. We are grateful to our global governing body ICC - International Cricket Council and regional body Africa Cricket.
We are also grateful to famous Wholesale group COGEF for providing special discount prices to this Association.
Together we shall win against Pandemic.
