IAM - HEALTH INSURANCE PROMOTER FOR MOZAMBIQUE CRICKET
IAM -Indian Association of Mozambique, one of the leading recognized bodies in the area of Social Welfares of Mozambique dedicated to the services to various communities and Indian expatriates, took the initiative under the leadership of Chairman of IAM Bineesh Vadavathy and his well established team to invite and accommodate various Staff and Active volunteers of Mozambican Cricket Association including dependents to join the " Affordable Insurance Program".
This very special and unique "Affordable Health Insurance Program" through joint undertaking with IMPERIAL INSURANCE company, launched on 8th May, 2021 was gracefully inaugurated by the High Commissioner of India in Mozambique H.E. Mr. Ankan Banerjee, in presence of various dignitaries at Southern Sun Hotel in Maputo.
In this most difficult global health hazard period, when good health care services are out of reach to the most of the people due to acute financial restrain, 22 personnel under Mozambican Cricket Association will fully enjoy and will be entitle to various coverages in health related matters including COVID 19.
A special discount was awarded to MCA by IAM and IMPERIAL INSURANCE Joint-undertakers to the tune of $4,600.00 USD and MCA also was honored by the sponsorship of $4430.00 USD to pay the discounted premium. In resume, MCA benefitted a total of more than $9000.00 USD in this "Affordable Health Insurance Program" in Mozambique.
