New Interim Chairman and Vice Chairman for Africa Cricket Association
Dear Members of ACA, 31st January 2023
It has been brought to our notice that Mr. Sumod Damodar, Vice Chairman of Botswana Cricket Association, communicating to ACA members under the pretext of the rank & position of ACA Chairman, of which he has been removed under Article 71 of South African Companies Act 71 of 2008.
Hence the position of Interim Chairman and Interim Vice Chairman has been filled by the ACA Board with Kwame Asare of Ghana Cricket Association and Dr Tavengwa Mukuhlani of Zimbabwe Cricket which was communicated to all members in December 2022.
Mr. Sumod Damodar’s acts and pretension of the position by misrepresentation is misleading and the ACA Board will do the needful as found suitable and appropriate to defend against any attempt to put the ACA into any disrepute.
