Commonwealth Day celebrated with Cricket - Cameroon

In a prelude to 2024 Commonwealth Day, the Cameroon U19 male cricket team faced off against the Indian Nationals based in Cameroon in a cricket match 

Cameroon's selection triumphed over their opponents with 54 runs compared to India's 45 runs at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium,

The  event was graced by the presence of distinguished personalities  including the Minister Delegate in charge of corporations with Commonwealth, the Minister of Sports' representative, the President of the Cameroon Cricket Federation, among other notable dignitaries.

At the end of the match, awards were bestowed upon the most deserving players. Didata from the Cameroon team who gave a stellar performance, was awarded the coveted Man of the Match award. 

Meanwhile, the Indian team was handed the Runners-up award, and the Cameroon U19 cricket team claimed the Winners award.

The highly-anticipated Commonwealth Day is set for March 11th, 2024, and this exhilarating match served as an excellent way to kickstart the event.
